Qianbu Dasha Beach is a relatively large beach on Mount Putuo. It is located on the eastern coast of Mount Putuo. The northern end is not far from Fayu Temple. It stretches from Jibaoling in the south to Wanghaiting in the northeast, with a total length of nearly 2 kilometers. Qianbu Dasha Beach is more spacious than Bai bu Sha Beach to its south, and the sand is finer. It is a great place for enjoying the waves and the sea. Many tourists will choose to come here after visiting the mountains and worshipping Buddha. Walking barefoot on the beach, listening to the sound of the tide while enjoying the sea breeze, and strolling on the beach, all the fatigue of the day disappears. At the northern end of the beach, there is a huge rock. When the tide ebbs, the rock is exposed above the water surface, with the words ‘Listening to the Tide’ engraved on it. There are stone steps leading to Wanghaiting from here. Standing on the pavilion and looking into the distance, there is an endless sea with a very wide view. In addition, from Qianbu Dasha Beach, you can also overlook Luojia Mountain, the reclining Buddha on the sea. If you want to see the sunrise over the sea, it is recommended to stay in a hotel near Qianbu Dasha Beach. Check the sunrise time and get up early to walk to the beach and wait for the sunrise over the sea. Chaoyang Cave at the junction of Bai bu Sha Beach and Qianbu Dasha Beach is a good place to watch the sunrise on Mount Putuo. And taking a walk on Qianbu Dasha Beach at night and enjoying the moon and the night view of Mount Putuo is also a rather poetic thing. Qianbu Dasha Beach is flat and wide, and the sand is very soft and clean. Although the swimming facilities are not as complete as those of Bai bu Sha Beach, there are still many tourists coming here to swim in summer. If you want to swim, staying in a hotel near Qianbu Dasha Beach is also a good choice. Wear slippers and walk to the seaside to play in the water. When you return to the hotel, you can take a shower and change clothes. In addition, there will be many small crabs on the beach at night, attracting many tourists to catch crabs with flashlights, which is very interesting.
Open all year round, 24 hours a day.
