The Meishan Salt Field Memorial Hall officially opened on June 30, 2016. The memorial hall is located in the ‘Seventy-two Houses’, the former site of the salt field preparation office, covering an area of more than 460 square meters. The Meishan Salt Field Memorial Hall integrates the functions of collection, display, education, and research, and is committed to commemorating the historical process of creation and operation, and highlighting the selfless dedication spirit of Meishan salt workers who ‘produce products, produce talents, and produce spirit’.
