Tie Jing Well, originally situated in the west of Chun’an County within Hangzhou City, was unearthed by Wang Chang, a Jinshi scholar, during the Shaosheng period of the Song Dynasty. This well, characterized by a circumference of one and a half zhang—a traditional Chinese unit of length—boasts water that is remarkably clear and refreshing.
The well is open to the public throughout the year, with accessibility maintained 24 hours a day. However, the operational status of the well can vary depending on the specific day’s opening hours.
