The Zhenhai Fortifications are concentrated around the mouth of the Yongjiang River, spread across less than two square kilometers on the southern and northern banks. As a strategic stronghold in the eastern defense of Zhejiang, the Zhenhai Fortifications stand out among other coastal defense relics for their large scale, numerous sites, diverse types, and excellent preservation. There are a total of 14 sites, including 8 on the north bank of Yongjiang in Zhenhai District and 6 on the south bank in Beilun District, forming a complete network of coastal defense cultural relics. It is also one of the best-preserved coastal defense sites in China.
Opening hours are from 08:00 to 18:00 all year round.

Free policy: Children under 1.2 meters in height enter for free; people over 70 years old with a senior citizen card enter for free; military personnel with valid identification enter for free; teachers with more than 30 years of teaching experience, national tour guides, and journalists with valid credentials enter for free.
