Waipu Mountain boasts a tranquil natural environment with a humid climate that is warm in winter and cool in summer, making it pleasant throughout the four seasons.
Erosion features such as sea grooves add to the unique landscape of Waipu Mountain. Particularly in the south, the area has been shaped by centuries of waves, creating many stunning natural attractions, including steep sea-eroded cliffs that evoke a sense of awe when viewed from above.
On the mountain, there is also the Wentao Pavilion commemorating Master Hongyi and the Xiao Putuo Zen Temple, which houses statues of Guanyin brought from Japan and the four famous Buddhist mountains.
The site is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:00.
