Shouchang Park is located in the northwest of Zhenhai urban area and at the northern end of Congyuan Road. It was completed in 1992 and covers an area of 12.6 hectares. The park’s architecture imitates the Suzhou garden style, with pavilions, terraces, and towers that are antique and elegant. There are small bridges and flowing water, creating a serene and refined atmosphere. The park is named after Chen Shouchang, a revolutionary martyr from Zhenhai. Inside the park, there is the Chen Shouchang Martyr Memorial Hall, monument, and a bronze bust of Chen Shouchang. On both sides of the north and south, there are also buildings such as the Zhenhai Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Room and the Zhenhai District ‘Double Support’ Achievement Exhibition Hall. The memorial hall is connected by antique corridors. The white walls are inlaid with various hollow patterns, presenting an elegant and solemn look. There are also buildings such as Shouchang Pavilion, stone arch bridge, hexagonal pavilion, and fish ponds. The fish ponds are surrounded by lake stones of various shapes.
