Beixi drifting is located in the heart of Yuyao’s Siming Mountains, known as a ‘natural oxygen bar’ and ‘summer retreat’. The drifting process is leisurely during the slow sections and thrilling yet safe during the rapid sections. It is an ideal place for people living in big cities to relax and relieve their tense mood.
During the drifting, one can fully appreciate the beautiful scenery along both sides of the stream, including the red maples and cherry blossoms competing for beauty, the bamboo and trees swaying in the gentle breeze, and the ancient charm revealed by the Tang Dynasty stone carvings. Along the route, there are also cultural landscapes such as the Jishan Bridge.
Drifting tourism combines entertainment and excitement. Tourists can experience the thrill of riding the rapids, enjoy the scenery along both banks of the stream, engage in water fights with neighboring boats, and closely integrate with nature.
