Bailong Valley Flume Ride scenic area is located in Shizhu Li Village, Xinqiao Town, Xiangshan County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Shizhu Li Village, situated at the northern foot of Baiyan Mountain, is named after the naturally formed rocks that resemble stone pillars. The village is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with beautiful scenery and a rich cultural heritage. The scenic area is favored by mountain climbers at the foot of Baiyan Mountain in Shizhu Li Village. It is 25 kilometers away from Xiangshan County, 80 kilometers from Ningbo City, 7 kilometers from the Xinqiao entrance of the Yongwan Expressway, and 6 kilometers from Xiangshan Film and Television City. The transportation is very convenient.
Bailong Valley Flume Ride scenic area, with the overall image positioning of Xinqiao Town as ‘Dynamic Mountains and Seas, Joyful Xinqiao’, aims to create a healthy town. It supports the construction of a multifaceted healthy scenic area with Ningbo Xiangshan Film and Television City. The scenic area is built in the Bailong Valley between the mountains. The peaks are layered, the mountain streams are murmuring, and the forests are lush.


The high rocks are silent and serene. It is an ideal place for leisure travel and climbing. The flume ride project is unique in Zhejiang Province, combining the flume ride with the natural valley terrain and harmonizing with the natural scenery. In the midst of thrilling entertainment, one can enjoy unique scenery and play in the mountains and waters. It is a great place to cool off in the summer.

The scenic area features steep and towering mountain rocks, with strange and colorful rocks along the mountain paths. Between the valleys, the mountain springs flow gently, accompanying the journey. It is a feast for the eyes. Climbing up the steps, one reaches the starting point of the valley, a high mountain reservoir, with clear waters reflecting the blue sky. It is also the water source for the flume ride.


A water park is being built using the reservoir water, which will include speedboats and various water entertainment projects upon completion. Next to the reservoir, there stands a huge white rock, with a unique experience. Above the rock, there are climbing facilities for the brave to try. Between the rocks, a high-altitude cableway will be built, offering an indescribable thrilling experience. From the edge of the reservoir, one can see various shapes of nearby rocks and mountains.


Adjacent to it is the Dragon Spine Rock, resembling a white dragon on the mountain top, with various shapes of rocks visible, including the Seven Sisters Rocks, a group of seven rocks, and a tall stone pillar. Below the reservoir, in the forest, there is a large area of bayberry orchards. During the bayberry season, one can pick and enjoy them here, with pavilions for washing and leisure. Enjoying the mountain scenery while tasting bayberries is quite pleasant.


Below the reservoir, there is a waterfall on the mountain rock, with surging rapids, making the valley even more serene. The pool formed by the waterfall is called the White Dragon Pond. The pond water is crystal clear, with tree reflections, lush and vivid. There are two white dragon head water sprays, unique and natural. Below the White Dragon Pond is the starting point of our flume ride project.


This flume ride is designed according to the terrain, combined with the natural landscape, with sharp turns, twists and turns, mountain stream sliding, cave passage, or forest cruising.
Experiences vary, as does the excitement. One can also appreciate different beautiful scenery. The slide rafting course is approximately 350 meters long, creating different experiences based on nature, roughly divided into four sections.


Surrounding the Peacock Rock, it offers multiple rotations. Then it meanders through the valley, offering the thrill of bends. Next, it enters the valley bottom for a mountain stream charge. Then it rushes into a cave, offering a cave crossing. After that, it enters flat terrain, slowly descending among bamboo and peach forests on the hillside, appreciating the mountain scenery. It combines thrill and tranquility, merging play with nature.


Experiencing the dynamism of life on the undulating slide; feeling the joy of speed in the gurgling stream. The sides of Bai Long Valley Slide are adorned with magnificent scenery and numerous small pieces, allowing for light-footed steps or climbing high to see far. Standing on the edge of a cliff and looking into the distance, one can see continuous mountains, layers of peaks, villages hidden among them; and the boundless East Sea, with reefs and islands hidden in the mist, and sea fields; blue sky, clear water, green fields, and magnificent scenery all in view.


There is a huge rock at the starting point of the slide, which is rare. One can also walk on the cliff rocks, sit in a high pavilion, and enjoy the beautiful scenery, overlooking the distance. It is also possible to cheer for friends during rafting, taking photos as a memento. Walking down the mountain road, at the foot of the slope, at the entrance of the scenic area, there are ancient temples with gray tiles and yellow walls, incense and evening bells, and more loquat trees and lush forests dotted among them, adding to the charm.


After entering the exit of the slide, entering the small river, one sees a century-old bridge, with vines growing on it, ancient trees entwined, the river water is blue, and the water and sky are one color, with multiple reflections. The mood is refreshing. Bai Long Valley Slide Scenic Area is built according to the mountain terrain, full of interest. It is a composite scenic spot with thrilling sensory experiences and lingering in the natural beauty.

The slide is winding and nearly 0.5 kilometers long, forming nine bends and eighteen bays, where one can see green mountains and people on both sides, strange peaks and clouds, and enjoy the depth of water color by looking down, listen to the sound of flowing water by the ear, and merge with the clear stream by hand.

From afar, the mountains appear like ink wash paintings, with white cliffs towering and the ‘Little Potala Palace’ accessible by car. This Buddhist paradise adds another destination to our scenic area. At the top of the mountain, there are temples and pagodas, known as the ‘Little Potala Palace of the South’. Bai Long Chan Temple is located on the hillside of Bai Yan Mountain, with a winding mountain road starting from the village at the mountain’s base, resembling a white dragon that stretches to the temple.


The mountain peaks are extraordinary, the scenery is divine, and the area is often shrouded in clouds and mist. The crisscrossing paths, farmland, and villages are lush and green, creating a perfect combination of nature and a dreamlike painting, as if a fairyland on earth. Surrounding the villages are orchards of various fruits. There are peach trees, orange trees, bayberry trees, kiwi, and more, with the fragrance of the orchards lasting all year round.


Visitors can buy or pick fruits during their leisure time, adding a unique charm. The opening times are from July 1st to August 31st, open from 08:30 to 11:00; from September 1st to June 30th, closed all day; from July 1st to August 31st, open from 13:00 to 17:00.
