Yingshan Temple, situated at the base of Da’an Mountain in Da’an Village, Meishan Town, lies over twenty kilometers to the northwest of Changxing County. The temple dates back to the Kaiping era of the Later Liang Dynasty, which spanned from 907 to 911 AD during the Five Dynasties period. Initially known as Raoyi Teaching Institute, it was renamed Yingshan Temple in 1063 AD.
