Fushi Reservoir, known as the ‘First Reservoir of Northern Zhejiang’, was constructed in 1970. It features a dam that stands at 42.8 meters high and 446 meters long, connecting two high mountains, with the dam crest at an elevation of 92.8 meters above sea level. The reservoir has a capacity of 217 million cubic meters and a water depth of 28 meters.
Water activities at Fushi Reservoir include yachting, boating, and the popular bamboo rafting tours. Below the dam, there are amusement parks, orange orchards, and vineyards. Adjacent to the reservoir, nestled against the mountains and waterside, is the ‘Tianfu Resort’.
The entire area is open to the public all year round, with full-day access.
