The A’peng River rushes down from Lichuan, Hubei. It passes through the Wuling Mountains and flows through Qianjiang to Gongtan, Youyang before emptying into the Wujiang River. With a total length of 249 kilometers, it is the largest tributary of the Wujiang River. In Qianjiang, the A’peng River has high mountains, deep valleys, and sheer cliffs facing each other.
