Aiping Mountain Park is located on Aiping Mountain, in the Jijiang Group of Jiangjin District, Chongqing City. It is bordered by the eastern new city of Jijiang to the east, and connected to the Jiangjin Yangtze River Bridge to the west. The park is in harmony with Zhuanshanping Park and Yanziya Mountain Park, serving as an important ecological green island and urban backdrop in Jiangjin District. It plays a significant role in enhancing the urban ecological environment and shaping the city’s beautiful skyline.
Within the park stands the Jiangjin Martyrs’ Cemetery, one of the renowned red education bases in Jiangjin. From the summit, visitors can see the Yangtze River, the first largest river in the motherland, and witness the spectacular view of the Jiangjin Yangtze River Bridge spanning the river. Moreover, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the city of Jiangjin.
The mountain is home to numerous farmhouses, making it an ideal place for citizens to relax on weekends and an excellent spot for hiking and enjoying the greenery in March. The park is open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
