The Aishan Scenic Area is located on the bank of the Yellow River and at the foot of Aishan Mountain, covering an area of more than 1,000 mu. It is a major scenic spot in the Dong’e Yellow River National Forest Park and a comprehensive tourist scenic area integrating the Yellow River, forests, peonies, humanities and natural landscapes rarely seen in western Shandong. At present, the No. 1 tourist bus line has been opened, with convenient transportation. In recent years, the scenic area has been successively rated as ‘Beautiful Countryside in Qilu’, ‘Rural Tourism Complex in Liaocheng City’, ‘National AAA-level Tourist Scenic Area’, Liaocheng City’s silver medal ‘Internet-famous Check-in Place’, and ‘Shandong Province’s High-quality Leisure Agricultural Park’. The construction of the camping ground and homestay in the Aishan Peony Garden has been included in the overall tourism planning of Dong’e County.
