An Chang boasts a long history and a rich cultural heritage. The Folk Customs Museum is built upon the ‘Zouma Building’ style Bao Shu Tang, featuring fifteen exhibition rooms. The ‘Nan Sha Hua Ji’ room houses twelve cotton weaving diagrams with illustrations and texts from the Qianlong era, along with ancient textile tools. The ‘Blessing’ scene and the grand Shinto festival of Shanyin and Kuaiji counties—the An Chang City God Temple Fair—are depicted in clay figurines. Forgotten customs of production, daily life, rituals, seasons, and society are all vividly presented within the museum. It showcases the traces of bygone years. The museum offers visitors a taste of the past with its authentic, rich, and colorful customs, providing a review of historical and cultural heritage. Opening hours are 08:00-17:00 from May 1st to September 30th and 08:00-16:30 from October 1st to April 30th.
