Ancient and Modern Flower Sea is a meticulously crafted flower viewing scenic area located in Hui Min Fang Bei Village, Ma Wu Town, Fuling District. The scenic area spans 500 acres and features over 20 varieties of seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms, peach blossoms, camellias, chrysanthemums, yellow flower locust, plum blossoms, lotus, pear blossoms, rose, bauhinia, azalea, tulips, opium poppy, and more.
In addition to the flower gardens, the area includes a flower seedling base, strawberry base, and an ecological farm for picking. The site also houses an expansion camp training base, wedding photography scenes, water entertainment, and children’s entertainment facilities.
Sculptures for viewing include figures such as General Ma Wu, a miller, a blacksmith, a potter, as well as representations of a pumpkin, a wine barrel, a giraffe, a peacock, a tiger, and a crane. The leisure and viewing spots are complemented by several rest pavilions and windmills.
The area also offers the chance to experience ancient and modern clothing from various cultures, including Han and Tang dynasties, Qing dynasty court attire, as well as modern Korean, Japanese, and ethnic minority clothing.
The Ancient and Modern Flower Sea is situated at an altitude of 800 meters, adjacent to a natural reservoir, with beautiful mountains and clear waters. It includes fishing, chess and card entertainment, KTV, barbecue, Chinese cuisine, hot pot, wood-fired chicken, roasted whole lamb, and pork soup. Accommodation is available for up to 200 people, and there are comprehensive conference halls for 200 people (2), 100 people (3), and 50 people (3), all equipped with wireless Wi-Fi.
The entire area is open from July 1st to December 31st, 09:00-17:30; and from January 1st to June 30th, 09:00-17:30.Preferential policies include free entry for children under 1.0 meters, discounted entry for children between 1.0 meters (inclusive) and 1.2 meters (exclusive), free entry for seniors aged 65 and above with valid identification, and free entry for active military personnel and disabled individuals with valid identification.
