Guofo Mountain is located in QingSheng Town, Rongchang District, 18 kilometers away from the city center. The main peak stands at an elevation of 711.3 meters and is the highest peak in Rongchang. From the summit, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the scenery of Changzhou, encompassing a hundred miles of natural beauty.
The scenic area features a monsoon humid climate, lush vegetation, beautiful scenery, and pleasant landscapes, including clear springs, steep cliffs, and cascading waterfalls. The average annual temperature is 17.7 degrees Celsius, with a forest coverage rate of over 80%, and a high concentration of negative oxygen ions exceeding 12,000 per cubic centimeter. A national PM2.5 air quality monitoring station has been established here.
The scenic area boasts a variety of natural attractions such as the innately formed Hundred Buddhas Garden; the mysterious and deep Three Saints Cave; the thrilling cliff path; the glass suspension bridge that feels like walking on air; the adventurous glass water slide; the green picking base; and the healthy and leisurely Golden Dragon Lake and colorful lakeside road.
