Ancient Changhua City was the county town of the former Changhua County, located on the western coastal area of Changjiang County, more than 50 kilometers away from the county town of Shi Lu. The original site is now at Changcheng Village in Changjiang Township.
Changhua Ancient City, nestled against the mountains and by the sea, boasts stunning scenery. Two kilometers southeast of the city lies the famous tourist destination, Changhua Ridge and Qi Zi Bay. The city is open all year round from 8:00 to 18:00.
