The Antelope Gorge Ancient Plank Road Forest Park is located in Antelope Mountain in the eastern part of Duanzhou District, covering an area of about 293 hectares. The ancient path of Antelope Gorge was initially trampled by Xijiang trackers. It was an important land passage for entering and exiting Duanzhou and connecting Guangdong and Guangxi through the Xijiang River in ancient times. It was completely abandoned only in the 1950s. However, it has profound historical and cultural deposits and preserves a large number of historical sites and ruins, forming a unique landscape of ‘gorge, river, mountain’, ‘forest, path, ship’. The specific opening hours are subject to the on-site announcements of the scenic spot.
