Aojiao Village is located in Chencheng Town, Dongshan County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, surrounded by the sea on three sides. The total land area of the village is 13,300 mu, with 380 mu of arable land, 5050 mu of forest land, and a coastline of 10 kilometers. It is a fishing village that integrates marine fishing, mariculture, and aquatic product processing. In October 2007, the village was awarded the title of ‘Green Xiaokang Village’ by the provincial government; in December 2007, it was jointly awarded the title of ‘National Democratic Legal Demonstration Village’ by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Civil Affairs; and in January 2009, it was re-elected as the ‘National Civilized Village’ for the second time.
