The museum was built on July 1, 1991. There are currently nine exhibition rooms for cetaceans, fishes, shellfish, seaweeds, shrimps and crabs, echinoderms, coelenterates and other aquatic animals. Nearly 3,000 kinds of aquatic biological specimens are on display. These specimens are displayed according to the classification system, neat and beautiful. They are not only scientific and academic, but also rich in knowledge and interest, and have high teaching, scientific research and ornamental value. It is also a place for popular science education.
Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, from 9:00 to 16:00. On Saturdays and Sundays, only group visits are received. Must-see tips: 1. This museum is an internal scenic spot of the school and is not open to the public. The museum will be open free of charge to the school’s faculty and staff and their families, and free of charge to the school’s current students. Faculty and staff of the school and current students of the school must show their valid certificates (work permit, teacher certificate, student ID card or all-in-one card, any one is fine). Faculty and staff of the school are limited to bringing 4 family members for free visit once a day. 2.
