Liangping Bai Li Bamboo Sea Scenic Area, located in the northwest of Liangping District, Chongqing, China, is characterized by a unique topography of two mountains flanking a valley, hence the common name Bai Li Trough. The scenic area boasts a bamboo sea that stretches for hundreds of miles, encompassing 37 varieties of bamboo resources such as Bai Jia Zhu, Shou Zhu, Nan Zhu, Ban Zhu, Ci Zhu, Shui Zhu, Ci Zhu, Jin Zhu, Jian Zhu, Ku Zhu, Tong Zhu, Zong Zhu, Lu Zhu, Fang Zhu, Si Zhu, Luo Han Zhu, Feng Wei Zhu, and rare bamboo species like Lv Gan Hua Qian Zhu and Hei Shui Zhu.
It is open all year round from 8:30 to 18:00.
