Bai Mansion is a French-style villa, known as the ‘Little White House’ for its white exterior walls and classical romantic architectural style. It is also a protected garden villa in Xuhui District. In the 1940s, it was the residence of General Bai Chongxi, in the 1950s it was the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy, and in the 1960s it was the Yue Opera School.
