Bai Mei Reservoir is located in Bai Mei Village, Tingjiang Town, Mawei District, Fuzhou City. It is situated in the middle reaches of Bai Mei Stream, with a catchment area of 65 square kilometers and a designed total storage capacity of 18.25 million cubic meters. The water supply scale is 100,000 tons per day, with a total investment of 125 million yuan. Construction began on October 18, 1998, and it was completed and put into use in 2001. Its completion not only improved the drinking water quality in Mawei and the investment environment of the development zone, but also resolved issues related to agricultural irrigation, flood control, and drainage in Tingjiang Town. The reservoir is open all year round, with full-day access.
