The Bai Xi River Shared Farmland project is located in the surrounding areas from Wu Liang Village to Xia Wan Village in Liu Shi Street, Dongyang City, covering a total area of approximately 2450 acres (including 1270 acres in the first phase and 1180 acres in the second phase). It aims to create a new type of farmland that combines modern agricultural production, leisure tourism, scientific research and education, agricultural experience, farmland picking, product processing, farming and folk culture experience, and pastoral film and television, fostering a shared new rural paradise. The project is planned with a layout of ‘one vein, one belt, four areas, and multiple points’, featuring a farming and folk culture vein, a waterfront recreation green belt, a film and television flower field experience area, a modern agriculture exhibition area, a modern technology agriculture demonstration area, a waterfront tour area, and several landscape nodes. In the first phase, the scenic area has created a pet zone, agricultural experience, live CS, barbecue camps, shared stoves, and more than ten recreational facilities, which opened to the public in 2021. Combined with various landscape nodes in the farmland, Bai Xi River Shared Farmland has become a popular leisure spot for local residents. In the future, the scenic area will continue to invest in the construction of artistic homestays, farmland restaurants, farmland culture museums, and agricultural industry areas, aiming to develop Bai Xi River Shared Farmland into a unique rural tourism complex. The scenic area is open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00.
