Baihua Garden is one of the key scenic spots in the National Key Scenic Area and a National 4A Tourist Area, part of Qingdao’s coastal scenic area. It is a model point for civilization in Shandong Province and a patriotic education base in Qingdao, recognized as one of the top ten tourist attractions in Qingdao.
Located north of Qingdao Mountain and south of Zhongshan Park, the garden was established in 1990, covering an area of 8.25 hectares with a green area of 53,360 square meters.
The garden boasts lush trees, green lawns, and a profusion of flowers, featuring two major water systems: the Spring Boil and the Flower Stream. It includes ten scenic spots such as ‘Red Autumn’, ‘Three Friends in Winter’, and ‘Spring Messenger’, making it an exquisite garden with a blend of ancient elegance and modern flair.
In 1995, the municipal government established statues for 20 distinguished cultural figures of Qingdao origin or residence within the garden, hence it is also known as the Cultural Celebrity Sculpture Garden.
