Di Shui Hu Scenic Area is located in Xiawan Village, Qianjia Dian Town, Yanqing County, Beijing. It features a unique small waterfall formed by a mountain stream that flows year-round. The stream cascades down from a yellow cliff over 60 feet high, creating a thunderous sound due to the drop of about 20 meters. The upper part of the waterfall is relatively small, resembling water pouring from a pot, hence the name ‘Di Shui Hu’.

On the mountain of Di Shui Hu, there are four springs that flow all year round. In the mountains, there is a cave with a large inverted lotus-shaped stalactite, also known as ‘Lianhua Cave’. At the foot of the mountain, there is a lake with clear waters, reflecting the vibrant green of spring and the colorful autumn, earning it the reputation of ‘Little Jiuzhaigou of the North’.

Opening hours are from 09:00 to 17:00 all year round.
