Bailian Cave Park is said to have been built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It is an open park located in the center of Zhuhai. The environment is elegant and pleasant. It is hidden in the valley at the southeastern foot of the Banzhang Mountain with lush forests. It is named because ‘in ancient times, there were monks living in seclusion here and planting white lotuses everywhere’.
The park is full of strange rocks, and the caves are interlocked. The hills and lakes rise and fall one after another, full of wild charm. In recent years, many artificial landscapes such as temples, pavilions, and docks have been added to the park, integrating with the natural landscape, making the park more comfortable and cozy. Starting from the entrance and going all the way north, you can also step on the 1999-step mountain climbing stone steps built to commemorate the return of Macau. Every few levels you climb, the scenery at the foot of the mountain has a different flavor, which is something that visitors talk about with relish.
