Baimai Spring Park is located in Zhangqiu City, named after the famous Baimai Spring, and includes scenic spots such as Qingzhao Garden, Longquan Temple, and Qingzhao Poetry Garden. Baimai Spring is one of the seventy-two famous springs in Jinan, ranking alongside Baotu Spring and is a renowned landscape in Zhangqiu. It is also the birthplace of the talented woman Li Qingzhao. Qingzhao Poetry Garden is the core part of the park, designed based on the poetic conception of Li Qingzhao and the local customs of her time, complemented by the ‘mountain clear and water beautiful’ natural scenery, and constructed with a spring garden landscape composed of four major themes: wind, flower, snow, and moon.
The park also features Li Qingzhao Exhibition Hall, Jinshi Garden, and Shangzhu Pavilion, which detail the culture of Qingzhao. Baimai Spring Park is famous for the natural gushing of numerous springs forming lakes, with a beautiful environment and clear Wanquan Lake. Longquan Temple, located in the southwest corner of the park and originally built in the Ming Dynasty, has ancient cypresses and bamboo shadows, with Baimai Spring and Moquan located within the temple. Qingzhao Garden, built in memory of the Song Dynasty female poet Li Qingzhao, is a garden that integrates the styles of Chinese northern and southern gardens, with buildings such as Yi’an Tower, Haitang Pavilion, Yinfeng Pavilion, Yanqin Ningxiang, Shuyu Hall, and Stele Corridor, and springs like Shuyu Spring and Meihua Spring. Additionally, there are Longquan and Shaizi Springs in the southern part of the park. Opening hours are from 07:30 to 18:00 all year round. Preferential policies: Children: Free for children under 1.2 meters (including) with adult accompaniment; half price for those between 1.2 meters (not including) and 1.4 meters (including). Elderly: Free for those aged 60 (including) and above with an elderly card or ID card. Students: Half price for full-time college and university students with a student ID.
