Baishi Mountain is located to the north of Guzihu Lake, named after the predominantly white rocks on the mountain. The northern slope is steep and cliff-like, while the southern side of the mountain is more gentle. There is a flat area of about 60 square meters halfway up the mountain. It is said that two immortal sisters played chess on this flat area, which was occasionally seen by a shepherd boy who discovered the secret of heaven, thus the area is named Baishi Fairy Chessboard. From the top of Baishi Mountain, one can enjoy a panoramic view of Dongqian Lake. The mountain is open all year round and available for visits 24 hours a day.
