Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area – Yunxi Ecological Park

Yunxi Ecological Park is located on the west side of Baiyun Mountain, covering an area of 30 hectares, nearly three times the size of Yuntai Garden. Constructed against the backdrop of Baiyun Mountain, Yunxi Ecological Park offers a lush and vibrant environment with birds singing and cicadas buzzing, accompanied by the gentle sound of flowing streams.
A winding path, Mo Yun Road, has been developed along the undulating terrain of the park, leading to Baiyun Mountain’s Moxing Ridge. This path connects three distinct garden areas: Guanhe Garden, Die Shui Garden, and Guoxiang Garden, each adorned with unique pavilions, corridors, ponds, and terraces, like pearls scattered along the mountain paths. Measurements indicate that the negative ion content in the forest air along this route reaches up to 6,500 ions per cubic centimeter, truly living up to its reputation as an ecological park.

In Guanhe Garden, the lotus pond is home to over 20 rare varieties of colorful lotuses and water lilies. Entering Die Shui Garden, which is built along the mountain stream, one can find突兀的山石 creating layered water features or standing alone as landscape features on the grassland, with clusters of banana trees, bamboo, and wildflowers forming a natural beauty beside the stream.

After exploring Yunxi, visitors can also ascend Guangzhou’s first green pedestrian overpass to cross the road and visit the new sports stadium, experiencing the blend of nature and modernity that Guangzhou embodies. The opening hours and business status are subject to the park’s daily operations.
