Bamboo raft drifting on Jiuquxi River is the essence of Wuyi Mountain. It is named because the water winds around the mountains and forms nine bends. On both sides of Jiuquxi River, strange peaks and ancient rocks stand in great numbers. The mountains turn at every bend, and the peaks are embraced by flowing water. Each bend has magnificent scenery and a sense of landscape painting. When you drift down on a simple bamboo raft, you can look up at the mountain scenery, look down to enjoy the water color, listen to the sound of the stream with your ears, and touch the clear current with your hands.

At shoals, the waves hold back the speeding boat; in deep pools, the water is as smooth as a mirror. Not only can you experience the fun of being thrilling but safe, but also have the incomparable comfort of being in a painting. Generally, bamboo raft drifting on Jiuquxi River goes downstream from the ninth bend to the first bend. Drifting with the current in this way is even lighter and swifter. For the journey on Jiuquxi, the raft is made by tying 8 to 9 peeled bamboo after being roasted.

It has a shallow draft and great buoyancy. Tourists can sit on it stably and comfortably with a wide field of vision. They can see the mountain scenery and enjoy the water color. Drifting down Jiuquxi River is both relaxing and comfortable, and thrilling but safe.

Opening hours: Open all year round from 07:30 to 09:10 and from 12:20 to 14:30. The specific raft departure time is subject to the site of the bamboo raft dock.
