Banjiang Bridge is located by the river in the SanShui River Mouth Development Zone, Guangdong, and is a key cultural heritage protection unit in Sanshui District. It is situated at the confluence of three rivers, west and north of the river mouth. In 1936, Yu Hanmou, the commander-in-chief of the Fourth Route Army of Guangdong, allocated 200,000 yuan to build the military bridge at the river mouth. The bridge is constructed with reinforced concrete, with a width of 3.8 meters and a length of 237.5 meters, extending from the riverbank southward to the center of the river. The terminal at the center of the river is built in three levels; when the water rises, one can descend from the bridge surface, and when the water is shallow, one can ascend from the lower level. The bridge is open to the public all year round and is accessible 24 hours a day.
