The Hainan Tropical Crops Research Institute is located in Baoting, featuring tropical crop specimen areas, tropical fruit tree areas, tropical economic crop areas, woody oil areas, and tropical forest areas. Among them, some of the more precious plants include the mystery fruit, bread fruit, avocado, rambutan, and mountain bamboo. Additionally, the garden has constructed a mountain-hugging viewing path with stone benches on both sides for visitors to rest. The garden is open all year round from 07:00 to 17:00.
