Baying Lake was originally constructed during the 38th year of the Qianlong Emperor’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1773). Subsequently, a new lake of approximately 10 hectares, resembling a gourd, was excavated to the south of the old lake. The two lakes, old and new, converge at their eastern and western ends, with the reflection of the Central TV Tower cast upon the waters.
Opening hours are from June 1st to August 31st (summer) from 06:00 to 22:30; from September 1st to December 31st (spring, autumn, and winter) from 06:00 to 21:30; and from January 1st to May 31st (spring, autumn, and winter) from 06:00 to 21:30.Must Read
