Beach Park is adjacent to the Beihai Silver Beach Resort, where the white sands and gentle slopes make it an ideal spot for appreciating sunsets. The iconic large steel sphere sculpture, one of Beihai’s landmarks, is also located here. Upon entering the park’s main entrance, one is greeted by a square featuring a massive stainless steel sculpture named ‘Tide’, depicting seven fairies holding olive branches, dancing and flying around a 23-meter diameter steel sphere, exuding artistic beauty.
A fascinating aspect of visiting Beach Park is the ubiquitous presence of sand crabs. Strolling along the beach, one can occasionally spot their nimble figures, small hiding holes, and sand balls scattered around the entrances. When people approach, they retreat into their holes, and once it’s calm, they emerge to continue rolling sand balls, adding a touch of interest to the experience. Many children can be seen digging in the sand to catch these crabs.
