Beihai Golden Bay Mangrove Ecotourism Area (hereinafter referred to as Golden Bay Mangrove Scenic Area) is located in the eastern area of Beihai Silver Beach National Tourist Resort in Guangxi. It is situated on the winding shoreline of Longtan Daguan Sha. The area is about 20 square kilometers. The Golden Bay Mangrove Scenic Area takes mangroves as the main body and Danjia culture as the characteristic. The ecology in the park is excellent, the scenery is beautiful, with red forests and blue waves, unique customs and great fun.
**Colorful mangroves**
There are about 3,000 mu of mangroves in the jurisdiction, layer upon layer, lush and green. Groups of egrets and migratory birds either dance gracefully or rest comfortably among them. On the tidal flat where mangroves grow, fiddler crabs, mudskippers, shellfish and other marine organisms can be seen everywhere. It is a rare marine biodiversity reserve in China.
**Unique Danjia Folk Custom Park**
It is composed of Danjia style corridor, Danjia exhibition hall, Danjia performance area, expansion area, leisure shopping center, Danjia food area, Danjia entertainment area and Danjia sea-catching area. It shows the living customs of people on the sea in real scenes. The enthusiastic Danjia style performances are very distinctive.

Daily, thousands of Danjia fishermen engage in the age-old practice of sea-catching, digging for snails and sand worms, and catching crabs and shrimps.

Upon entering the park after purchasing tickets, visitors are directed to the mangrove ecological sightseeing area. Here, a wooden plank road traverses the sea, offering a unique vantage point to tour the mangrove wetlands. Marvel at the expansive mangroves, spanning thousands of mu, and observe the diverse wildlife, including egrets, fiddler crabs, mudskippers, and pointed-tail snails. For a panoramic view, climb the Egret Pavilion to take in the breathtaking scenery of the mangroves.
2. Danjia Folk Customs Performance (Duration: 30 minutes)
In the Danjia folk custom park area, visitors can witness the vibrant culture of the Danjia people at the performance stage. Enjoy a spectacular display of traditional dances in the Danjia style, as well as live enactments of Danjia weddings and other cultural programs.

4. Sea-Catching Experience (Duration: 1-2 hours)
As the tide recedes, the beach transforms into a playground for sea-catching. Engage in the traditional activities of digging for snails, sand worms, and catching crabs, a unique experience that connects you with the natural rhythms of the sea.
Embark on a journey through the Golden Bay mangrove forest and immerse yourself in the rich heritage and natural beauty that awaits.Tourists can go to the sea-catching reception to purchase a sea-catching package and get professional tools such as waterproof shoes, snail rakes and small buckets. Staff will guide you to a safe area on the beach for activities of digging for snails and sand worms. Visitors can use a rake to gather clams on the beach, catching various seafood such as vehicle clams, razor clams, sandworms, and sand crabs. The entire area is open year-round from 07:30 to 19:00. Preferred policies for children: Free for those under 1.2 meters in height (not including 1.2 meters); discounted for those between 1.2 meters (including 1.2 meters) and 1.4 meters (not including 1.4 meters).
