Beihai Seaside Park is located in the north of the urban area. The aquarium is in Area A of the park and is a relatively large aquatic products exhibition hall in China. It has a construction area of 1,600 square meters and is divided into seven exhibition rooms, as well as aquariums, turtle ponds, and seal ponds. In the aquatic area, there are specimens of manatees (mermaids) listed as precious protected animals, and marine life exhibits such as a 600-year-old, relatively large turtle weighing a thousand catties in the country. There are also whale skeletons weighing more than 10,000 catties, lobster specimens weighing several kilograms, the famous ‘South Pearls’ at home and abroad, and a live turtle over 100 kilograms and over a hundred years old. Dozens of subtropical fish in the Beibu Gulf Sea area are also cultivated. Visiting this hall is like roaming in the ocean world, which will greatly broaden your horizons and increase your knowledge of the ocean.
