The South Pearl Museum takes ‘openness, inclusiveness, harmony and innovation’ as its theme, takes the history of south pearls as the main line and the south pearl culture as the background, and slowly reproduces six wonders: ‘the essence of the sea’, ‘the spiritual totem of three thousand years’, ‘the magical pearl’, ‘royal favor’, ‘the glory of south pearls’ and ‘exquisite carving’.

The museum houses more than a thousand precious cultural relics, including hundreds of specimens of marine life appearances, bone specimens, shell specimens and pearl specimens. In particular, the treasure of the museum, China’s large natural seawater pearl ‘South Pearl Giant’ and ‘Crown of the Ocean’, are extremely rare and precious.

In order for tourists to better experience the three-thousand-year historical development of Beihai, there are commentators to explain the development history in detail for tourists.
