Absence makes the heart grow fonder. In 2021, Mr. Liu Zhenyun released his new work ‘One Day, Three Autumns,’ which, inspired by the paintings of ‘Uncle Six’ and the legend of ‘Lady Hua,’ depicts the joys and sorrows of the once-famous performers of the Yanjin Henan Opera Troupe, Ying Tao and Chen Changjie, as well as their son Mingliang and his wife Ma Xiaomeng, spanning two generations. In 2022, Gulou West Theatre brought ‘One Day, Three Autumns’ to the stage, marking another significant addition to Liu Zhenyun’s drama series following ‘A Sentence Is Worth Ten Thousand’ and ‘I Am Not Pan Jinlian.’ In 2024, the drama ‘One Day, Three Autumns’ will make a grand appearance at the 2024 National Centre for the Performing Arts International Theatre Season, premiering as a new work in the ‘Beijing·Viewing the World’ section from December 11th to 12th. The show will be open on December 11th (Wednesday) to December 12th (Thursday), with performance times and durations subject to the venue.
