The Beijing Fine Art Academy Art Museum is located within the Beijing Fine Art Academy in Chaoyang District, Beijing, and is known for its exhibition of works by the art master Qi Baishi. The museum covers an area of 4,600 square meters and is equipped with four exhibition halls. It also includes the Qi Baishi Memorial Hall, which showcases a collection of Qi Baishi’s works divided into ten thematic series from the Beijing Fine Art Academy’s collection.
Since its establishment, the museum has successfully held thematic exhibitions for artists such as Li Hu, Li Kuchan, Li Keran, Wu Zuoren, Jiang Zhaohe, Dong Xiwen, Pang Xunqian, Zhou SiCong, and Huang Zhou; it has also hosted numerous exhibitions featuring contemporary important artists and international art exchanges. The first exhibition hall is located on the first floor of the museum, with a service desk at the entrance providing services such as luggage storage, guidebook distribution, and audio guide services. The second exhibition hall is on the second floor, with an audience rest area outside the hall and multimedia audio-visual facilities. The third and fourth floors are dedicated to the Qi Baishi Memorial Hall’s exhibition of works. In addition to Qi Baishi’s paintings, calligraphy, drafts, three hundred seals, and letters, the collection also includes a batch of valuable life photos and daily utensils donated by his family. The exhibition hall also recreates a corner of Qi Baishi’s studio in Yu’er Hutong, displaying the stationery he used in his lifetime, including a painting table, brushes, inkstones, glasses, and bookcases. Opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:00, all year round; the museum is closed all day on Mondays; and on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, the museum is open from 09:00-17:00. Mandatory tips: 1. Flash photography and sketching are prohibited in the exhibition halls without permission. 2. Bringing water into the exhibition halls is prohibited. 3.
