The exhibition is divided into four major units: ‘Mummies and Immortality’, ‘Beauty and Protection’, ‘Gods and Humans’, and ‘Offerings and Rituals’. A total of 123 pieces (sets) of precious ancient Egyptian cultural relics are on display. The heavyweight exhibits include three mummy coffins, two mummies, five animal mummies, eight mummy shrouds, etc. In addition, precious cultural relics such as noble jewelry, god statues and sculptures, relief murals, canopic jars, and cosmetic utensils are also on display. The exhibits span 4,300 years and 32 dynasties. From the earliest source of the Nile River to the later development of Egypt, they almost connect the historical context of ancient Egypt and fully show the mysterious history and eternal view of life of ancient Egyptian civilization.
