The traditional brewing technique of Beijing Erguotou liquor is a national intangible cultural heritage. This technique has unique historical value. The Beijing Erguotou Liquor Museum is located in Huairou, the ‘international conference capital’. It was constructed by Beijing Red Star Co., Ltd. It opened on September 18, 2011, and completed upgrading and renovation on November 18, 2022. This museum is Beijing’s museum themed on displaying the traditional brewing technique of Erguotou liquor. It integrates viewing, experiencing, and inheritance. It is a national AAA-level scenic spot, a protective demonstration base for intangible cultural heritage in Beijing, a science popularization base in Beijing, a resource unit for social classrooms for primary and middle school students in Huairou District, and a cultural tourism experience base in Beijing. The museum has rich display contents, including the birth, inheritance, dissemination, innovation, and development of Beijing Erguotou’s technique. Here, you can understand the historical development process and technical mysteries of Erguotou, and realize Red Star’s efforts and contributions as the originator of the Beijing Erguotou category in inheriting, innovating, disseminating, and leading Erguotou’s technique by putting quality first and craftsmanship at the core. Opening hours: Open from 08:30 to 16:00 all year round; open from 08:30 to 16:00 on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Tomb Sweeping Day, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.
