The “Eternal Beauties – Special Exhibition of Ancient Character Paintings from the Palace Museum Collection (Fourth Edition)” was inaugurated on August 30th at the Wenhua Hall exhibition hall of the Palace Museum. This exhibition, themed around ladies’ portraits, is the fourth in a series following “Etiquette in the Temple Hall”, “Elegance in the Woods”, and “Diverse Characters”.
Featuring 83 precious paintings that are both artistically and historically valuable, the exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to admire the peerless elegance of women depicted by painters across various eras. Moreover, through touching stories that have been passed down through the ages, one can perceive the spiritual strength and daily life pleasures of ancient women.
The exhibition is open to the public from August 30th to October 31st.
