The Beijing Lizhitang Imperial Examination Stele Museum houses more than 40 plaques inscribed by 32 champions of the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are more than 500 wooden and stone plaques. The oldest champion plaque dates back to the 16th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, 589 years ago. Its treasure is the imperial examination gate of the Yuan Dynasty. The museum covers an area of about 3,000 square meters, and the antique building area is 2,600 square meters.

Taking the distinctive theme of imperial examination plaques as the entry point, it forms a series of cultures and clearly witnesses the imperial examination system. At the same time, it fully taps the rich cultural content contained in the plaques. This kind of museum is relatively rare in China. The culture formed by the imperial examination system is the mainstream culture of China. It determines and influences the process of Chinese history.
