Spirit Valley is a naturally secluded valley deep within the mountains, where numerous mountain springs converge into streams that flow all year round. The valley walls rise steeply, and at the bottom, clear streams gather into small pools, transparent to the bottom, with a famous ‘Spirit Spring’ hidden amidst the lush greenery. Its water is cool and sweet, highly favored by visitors. The valley also features many lifelike shaped rocks, such as the majestic eagle’s head, the lion king’s face, the golden toad playing with a turtle, and the four immortals facing the wall, all crafted by the extraordinary workmanship of nature.

Baihe Silver Beach is the sister attraction of Spirit Valley. Opposite the valley entrance, 200 meters away, lies an 800-meter stretch of Baihe beach, with clean, soft, and flat sand, picturesque scenery, ideal for playing beach volleyball, soccer, flying kites, camping, playing in the sand and water, and a rare gem in the suburbs of Beijing. The scenic area is pollution-free, with fresh air and a high concentration of negative oxygen ions, 300,000 units, hundreds of times that of the city. During the day, the sky is blue with white clouds, and at night, the stars are bright. In summer, the mountain breeze is refreshing, and in winter, the sun is warm. Such a natural environment is thanks to the regional regulation of Miyun Reservoir, making it a paradise on the edge of a metropolis.

The scenic area is open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00. Preferential policies include: 1. Children under 1.2m in height (not including) are exempt from the scenic area ticket. 2. The above information is for reference only, and specific details should be based on the day’s announcement at the scenic area.
