The Beijing Olympic Museum has a wide area. It is mainly engaged in the collection, storage and research of Olympic cultural relics. It is a comprehensive museum integrating culture and leisure.
Opening hours: From January 1st to September 13th, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00; closed all day on Monday. On Saturday, September 14th, open from 09:00 – 20:00. From September 15th to September 20th, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00; closed all day on Monday. On Saturday, September 21st, open from 09:00 – 20:00. From September 22nd to September 27th, open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00; closed all day on Monday. On Saturday, September 28th, open from 09:00 – 20:00. From September 29th to December 31st, closed all day on Monday; open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00. Open from 09:00 – 17:00 during the National Day. Closed on Mondays, except for national legal holidays. During the extended opening period on Saturday, September 21st, all exhibition halls and public service supporting facilities of the museum are open to the public as usual. At 18:00, an additional screening will be added in Screening Room 1 on the first floor of the museum lobby. At 18:30, an additional screening of the opening and closing ceremony exhibition projects of the Beijing Winter Olympics will be added in the underground basic exhibition hall.Beijing Olympic Museum
