Beijing Fenghuangling Scenic Area is located in the northwestern part of Haidian District. The natural landscapes within the scenic area, such as peaks, stones, forests, and springs, complement the cultural landscapes including temples, inscriptions, pagodas, and incense trails, earning it the reputation of ‘Little Yellow Mountain in Western Beijing’. The area offers beautiful scenery in all four seasons, making it an excellent destination for spring outings, summer retreats, autumn fruit viewing, and winter snowscapes.


Exploring Fenghuangling, there are three routes available: North Route, Middle Route, and South Route. The North Route is dense with attractions, allowing visitors to appreciate peculiar peaks and rocks, and explore hidden caves and secret grottoes, making it suitable for mountain climbing and rock climbing. The Middle Route starts at the famous temple ‘Longquan Temple’ in Western Beijing, and along the mountain, one can visit numerous ancient health cultivation sites. The South Route is a haven for religion, archaeology, exploration, and adventure tourism. Huangpu Court, Guan Yu Temple, and Lv Zu Dong form a richly endowed ‘triangle belt’ of religious culture, a convergence of Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian cultures.


The entire area is open all year round from 07:00 to 17:00. Preferential policies include: Children under 6 years old (inclusive) or under 1.2 meters in height (inclusive) enter for free; Seniors aged 65 and above (inclusive) with ID or senior citizen card enter for free; Seniors aged 60 to 65 (inclusive to exclusive) with senior citizen card or ID enjoy half-price admission; Active-duty military and armed police officers with valid documents enter for free; Students with student ID cards (excluding adult education, graduate, and doctoral students) receive discounted tickets.


Service facilities include a parking lot: [Fenghuangling Natural Scenic Area Parking Lot] with a reference price of 10 yuan per small vehicle and 20 yuan per large vehicle; located at the entrance of Fenghuangling Natural Scenic Area, Fenghuangling Road, with a capacity of 200 spots.


Garden transportation: with a reference price starting at 5 yuan per person, varying by route; location: – Stroller rental: with a reference price of 30 yuan per rental, requiring a 600 yuan deposit; location: Visitor Center.


Wheelchair rental: with a reference price of 30 yuan per rental, requiring a 600 yuan deposit; location: Visitor Service Center.


Restrooms are located within the scenic area, near facilities such as Ganlie Spring, East Gate ticket office, camping site, Huangpu Court, and Longquan Temple, with clear signs indicating their location.


Nursing rooms: located near the Visitor Center of Fenghuangling Natural Scenic Area.
