The museum is located in Dongjiaominxiang, Dongcheng District. The museum building is a four-story Western-style classical architecture. The museum’s exhibitions are mainly based on physical objects, supplemented by pictures, texts, models, etc. It adopts a display method combining chronicle and major special topics, and is divided into four exhibition halls: Beijing public security history, criminal investigation, police functions, and police equipment.
There are more than 7,000 collections in total, and more than 1,500 pieces are on display. The museum design uses high-tech means and introduces advanced sound, light, and electricity technologies, which better highlights the characteristics of the times of the museum. There are special audience participation operation projects in the museum, such as simulated driving, real-time display system of traffic road conditions, fire escape and self-rescue training facilities, etc. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year from 09:00 to 16:00; Closed all day on Monday throughout the year.Beijing Police Museum
