Beijing Science Center is located at No. 9 Beichen Road, Xicheng District, and is affiliated with the Beijing Association for Science and Technology. It is a public welfare social science popularization education base serving teenagers.


The opening hours are closed all day on Mondays throughout the year; open from 09:30 to 17:00 from Tuesdays to Sundays. The Children’s Playground is open from 09:30 to 12:00 (last admission at 11:30) in the morning and from 13:30 to 16:00 (last admission at 15:30) in the afternoon, with a closure from 12:00 to 13:30 for disinfection of the venue.


Essential Tips:


1. In case of national or municipal significant events, please refer to the official website of Beijing Science Center for any adjustments to the opening hours. Visitors are requested to enter according to their scheduled appointment time; entry will not be allowed after the time has passed.


2. To ensure the safety of visitors, entry may be restricted based on the actual situation of the venue; please support and understand this measure.


3. As the venue requires security checks for entry, please wait patiently in line and enter the venue in an orderly manner.


4. Special groups such as the elderly, minors, and disabled individuals must be accompanied by a guardian for the visit and interactive exhibits, who will be responsible for their safety throughout the visit. Entry is denied to those with pets or who are intoxicated.


5. It is strictly prohibited to bring controlled knives, sharp objects, flammable, explosive, toxic, or harmful items into the venue. Open flames and smoking are not allowed inside, and please do not bring food into the exhibition area. Valuables should be carried and kept safely by visitors.


6. For the safety of visitors, do not bring items like skateboards, balance boards, and remote-controlled toy cars into the museum.


7. Catering and parking services are not provided temporarily; please use public transportation to get here.


8. The museum does not provide storage services for large items or strollers; please take care of them by yourself.


9. Please observe the exhibition in a civilized manner, no chasing, roughhousing, or loud noises are allowed inside the exhibition hall. Do not cross barriers or protective railings; please maintain the environment inside the center and dispose of waste in the designated waste bins.


10. To create a good visiting environment for visitors, please do not use non-venue amplification devices inside the museum.


11. Strictly follow the operating procedures of exhibits and participate in interactive exhibits, and listen to the guidance of the museum staff.
