The Beijing Tea Museum is a public museum affiliated with the Tea Company under the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce. The exhibition covers the history of tea from the legendary Shen Nong tasting a hundred herbs to the ten famous teas of contemporary China. The museum’s treasure is the ‘Pu’er Gold Melon Tribute Tea’, commonly known as ‘Human Head Tea’, which was made during the Guangxu period and is over a hundred years old.


Opening Hours: The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 to 16:00, all year round. It is closed on Mondays. It is also closed on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.
